The story

The philosopher emperor on horseback, in real bronze cast by the lost-wax method, with an aged patina, on a marble base. 19 × 14.5 × 9.5 cm, 1,078 g, with the Imperivm Art name engraved on the piece.

The work behind this piece

Marcus Aurelius ruled Rome from AD 161 to 180 and is remembered as a philosopher as well as an emperor, the author of the Meditations. This sculpture is inspired by his equestrian image. A modern lost-wax bronze on a marble base, not an antique.
