2.1 Scope

These terms govern every purchase made on souvenirsrome.com. Purchases made through our Etsy boutique are governed by Etsy's own terms instead.

2.2 Prices

All prices are in euro and include Italian VAT at the applicable rate. Shipping is shown separately before you confirm payment. Orders sent outside the European Union may attract import duties and local taxes, payable by the recipient.

2.3 Products

Our pieces are handcrafted or hand-finished. Small variations in finish, patina and dimensions are inherent to the process and are not defects. Reproductions inspired by museum works are new objects and are never sold as antiques or archaeological artefacts.

2.4 Order and payment

The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email. Payment is handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.; we never see or store your card details. We may refuse and refund an order in full where a piece is unavailable or a price was displayed in obvious error.

3 · Shipping

Every piece is packed by hand with protective materials and shipped tracked. We dispatch within 1-2 working days of payment.

Delivery estimates run from dispatch, not from the order. Large or heavy pieces may be quoted individually — write to us first.

4 · Right of withdrawal & returns

Consumers resident in the European Union may withdraw within 14 days of receiving an order, without giving a reason (Italian Consumer Code, Legislative Decree 206/2005, implementing Directive 2011/83/EU).

How to withdraw

1. Email imperivmart91@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery, quoting your order reference.
2. Send the piece back within 14 days of telling us, in original condition and packaging.
3. We refund within 14 days of receiving it, to the same payment method.

Return shipping is at your expense, unless the piece arrived damaged or was not what you ordered — then we cover it.

Damaged in transit

Photograph the parcel and the piece and write to us within 48 hours of delivery. We will replace it or refund you in full.

Exceptions

Custom-made or personalised pieces are excluded from the right of withdrawal, as the law permits.

What we collect and why

• Order data (name, email, phone, billing and shipping address) — to perform the contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We receive the outcome and the last four digits of the card, never the full number.
• Tax records — to comply with Italian accounting law, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
• Analytics and advertising data — only with your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Who we share it with

Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., our hosting provider, the courier delivering your order, and our accountant. Google LLC receives analytics and advertising data only where you have consented; transfers outside the EEA rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

Order and tax records: 10 years, as Italian law requires. Analytics data: 14 mesi.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time by writing to imperivmart91@gmail.com. You may also complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

6 · Cookies

The site stores one technical item in your browser to remember what is in your cart. It is strictly necessary and needs no consent.

Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads) load only after you consent. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time.

There are two categories:

• Analytics (Google Analytics 4): how people reach the site and which pages they read. Aggregated, with IP anonymisation.
• Advertising (Google Ads): which ads lead to a visit to the shop or a purchase.

The site uses Google Consent Mode v2: until you choose, every consent signal is set to denied and no advertising identifier is created. Refusing takes one click, exactly like accepting.

You can change your mind at any time: reopen cookie preferences.

7 · Complaints & disputes

Write to imperivmart91@gmail.com first — most things are settled the same day. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

These terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the competent court is that of their place of residence or domicile.
