The lorica musculata was the anatomical cuirass of high-ranking Roman officers, sculpted to mirror an ideal torso: imperial statues and reliefs show emperors and generals wearing it. Armour designed to impress as much as to protect. Handcrafted decorative steel reproduction, non-functional.
